  1. Christ, someone just sent me this and I agree with it! It's from the Mail, I need a shower, I feel dirty. http://hanlonblog.dailymail.co.uk/2013/05/why-do-so-many-people-hate-cyclists.html

That'll be the kids for a quid thing. Its a great idea, however the parents will be paying long term due to chronic neck problems.
  3. No, it was the sanctimonious pillock Police but somehow they missed you.
  4. Apollo 13
  5. What jumps out at me is the idea that someone doing their job is being portrayed as evil because the event was for Charidee. Sorry but that doesn't exempt the OP from the law and you shouldn't point fingers just because you feel you are morally superior. That's how I read it. And another echo for BR and Renata, I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds it a bit ironic that you should feel the need to drive in order to run.
  6. Football will indeed eat itself, in the meantime I'm enjoying bonkerdom. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22525518
  7. Actually RD, I was referring to the "Ladies".........
  8. > > Must be a closet gooner. Get in Al. Apparently he does, which is why he left West Ham.......

  10. An update After taking on the kind words and advice offered here, I did what I'm really good at. I hid under my shell and pretended it will all go away. Until last week( and on the 6th anniversary of my Mother's passing!) and due to my Uncles unique surname a lady, my Sister got in touch. She's 60 living in Queensland and err... she's my Sister. Mind blown, thanks everyone.

  12. Oh and john Wark, saw him playing for Ipswich v Port Vale, a real, proper footballist.
  13. I seem to remember Stuart Slater was the world champion at keepy-uppies? Destroyed Everton in the 90/91 FA cup, went to Celtic (was Liam Brady his manager or something) and disappeared. Quite sad really.

  15. SJ, he might of made it,had he not been injured.
  16. *shuffles off to bathroom*
  17. Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Everything were better back then. Oh hang on, no > it wasn't. > I'm sorry Otta, mostly you are correct but the FA cup was better then, its not misty-eyed sentimentalism, it's a fact. The season was over, this was THE showcase game, the build up, the cache and Ringos, I'd watch this over any money laden Euro knobfest anytime. But you are right, money, money, money.
  18. Footie Focus contributors, give me your top 5 players that you've seen play live. Mine 1 Dennis Bergkamp 2 Paul Gascoigne 3 Liam Brady (as a hammer, natch) 4 Paolo Di Canio 5 Eric bloody Cantona.
  19. What a player.

  21. And Willie Young stayed on the pitch. Today he would have been burnt at the stake. Happy Dayz
  22. In fact, due to my hangover and the onrush of sentiment
  23. I've never been able to watch it either, I knew we'd lose when it came to penalties. Dean Ashton, DEAN ASHTON, what could he have become? *wails*
  24. I'm looking at my FA cup ticket from Cardiff * wipes tear from eye*
  25. the FA just get better, don't they? Brilliantly and effortlessly devaluing their own crown jewel. I want to be sat in front of the telly, a mix of rancheros and ringos to hand, watching the coaches go to Wemberlee but no. Another part of my sporting love given over to idiocy. I'm all about Wigan today. Just sorry that it just isn't quite what it should be.
