  1. Did i say that in my post no i did not i was agreeing with citzen ED, i like everyone am exercising my right to state my opinion,
  2. Citizen i could not have put it better myself, some residents of ED think they can be rude to staff, i have seen it myself and its really unfair to be spoken to rudely. I can think of a couple on this forum.
  3. Nero i agree however in my opinion i feel that the forum is a very negative place anyway, thats wh i do not post often and i do not recommend it to friends. my opinion and as you said we are free to say what we want.
  4. only they were going to deal with it, i know its too little too late in some peoples opinion, but give them another try. i went, and had a lovely meal yesterday, the service was good and the staff were kind and attentive
  5. No im not, im defending them because i like them, always have, i have just remembered why i dont like this forum, its negative thats why i dont post often, only when its needed. What does OP mean?
  6. your post was shouting at me, lol only joking i understand the frustrations, and the wait for them to reply to the complaint, but i feel that the thread needs to come to an end, this forum can be very damaging to livlihoods. The blue mountain was here long before the EDF and i personally feel that people need to cut them a little slack.
  7. Fuschia i told them about this post, they have been told already by other forumites. They are bothered about the customer service and they are planning to do something about it. I am not speaking on their behalf, im just telling you what they said to me, that is all
  8. Sue calm down i only told them what was happening why are you taking it so personally???
  9. Apparently they will speaking to the administrator
  10. They are bothered, i spoke to themn yesterday and they are very bothered.
  11. There are 2 valid sides to this story regarding dom and dave. You have 1 side a family man who wants to take his family out locally for food and social intercourse, and we have i presume a single guy or a guy whos dating who does not have kids, who equally wants to go out and have a drink/coffee/food with a friend, scenario of East Dulwich is that most eating places will have mums, dads and toddlers. It is nappy valley for a reason after all.Equally we have the guys with no kids who want some time with no kids around them, both sets have equal rights to go out.One should not say to the other stay at home, what right do they have to say that. Last week i walked in then out of 3 places in East Dulwich because i did not want to spend my well deserved time surrounded by breastfeeding mums, why should i,its my right to do what i want.I have no problem with breastfeeding mums but i can think of better ways to spend my time. Please do not retaliate,i am merely expressing a point, its my time i do what i want.
  12. Monica i have been following this thread from Portugal,i admire your response, madworld too you have stuck too your guns.I work in Media and believe me if there was 1 industry who could be accused of back handers and paying Doctors and Consultants, rewards for endorsing their products it is the pharmaceutical industry.Fortunately I work in Travel not science.
  13. A friend of mine was passing by the silver buckle the other evening when he was approached by a guy who asked him for 10pence to get home.He then said to my friend if you are round here tomorrow night come in to the buckle and ask for me Alan dale. Are there 2 Alan dales in Camberwell, the silver buckle Alan was holding a can of super tennants and choking on a dog end,my friend who lives in Victoria follows the EDF so he knows there is Alan dale on here!!!!!! Is there internet access in the Silver buckle!!!! Very intriguing.
  14. Nice 1 tary the shops in East Dulwich are very independant and all work well together. The nice peeps at Healthmatters are always giving me good advice regardless if i buy or not plus they are open sundays, essential for emergencies,SMBS are so helpful with foods and what grains go with what meats and fish.I live in Nunhead but i am now a shopper in East Dulwich.
  15. Macroban SNUB is about saying no to unwanted bags Most of the retailers are trying to encourage recycling by not offering bags,or asking do you need a bag.The south london press very kindly wrote an article and they do have a lot of local support. The campaign are at the moment applying for money through the cleaner greener scheme to finance cloth bags for East Dulwich residents, watch this space. The snub campaigners are also organising events,in the next few months.they will keep the forum posted about the events,

  22. I was in a shop this afternoon, and the shopkeeper and his collegues were talking about the possibility of Another card shop coming to Lordship Lane.I havent seen anything posted on here about it(This is where i look for rumours of new places) I know there is a really nice card shop just by somerfields which i have used before and found really helpful.Wont another cardshop affect his business, does lordship lane need another card shop. What happened to blinking originality(am i going on a bit) Needless to say the shopkeeper isnt too pleased either because all i could hear was copying,i mean even my locals in nunhead use the LL card shop(sorry still going on)
  23. I finally braved lordship lane today, last experience was not good, but it was a saturday, but on the advice of the friendly forumites i did it thanks.Butchers were helpful, was looking for the teashop????Where is it has it opened?Went into moxons nice fellas.Karavan very friendly although new really looked after me,asked him about a device i saw at the greenfair, for recharging batteries, did anyone else see that?Dr energy i think, top idea hes looking into it at the moment as hes had other requests for it.Farmers brill shop loving the practical items like tupperware and i now have a big shopping bag to use for all my shopping ta again forumites
