  1. The kids from Nunhead tend to go to St Francesca Cabrini School, as St thomas the Apostle church on Evelina Rd has strong links with the school.
  2. Surrey Docks farm is good for this gegroup. You an have donkey rides, and hire a classroom there if you want to too.
  3. Naz, a young Sicilian butcher at what was Spencer's on Evelina Rd in Nunhead has excellent meat. All his pork is free range and his beef is grass fed Scottish and he sells organic chicken (normal chicken too if you don't want organic). He also does some deli too, great ham on the bone and on Saturday its Sicilian sausage day (slightly spicy, gluten free as they contain no filler only pork and sold by the length!). We won't go anywhere else for our t-bone steaks or ham. The only bucher that I use on Rye Lane if I'm up there, is the Irish Butcher near Primark.
  4. The Woolworths site in Peckham is currently an awful furniture/ clothes shop, they are only due to stay there for 6 months though, so keep your fingers crossed as a Waitrose or M&S or any reasonable chain store is what is needed there.
  5. I wonder what effect the merger with Monson and altered entry criteria will have on the mix of children and standards. I have heard that several members of staff left too. Remaining places after Monson, Siblings and Music are done on catchment area. Does anyone know how big that was this year and how much it varied between bands?
  6. A weird mix of sofas and 5 pound clothing rails seems to have appeared within the old Woolworths shop, it doesn't look promising.
