On Goose Green itself from 12 noon, come and have lunch from one of 10 hot food stalls accompanied by a cold drink from our bar and a browse of the stalls. If you have kids, there is a little roundabout, inflatables, face painting, lots of craft activities and a raffle with fantastic prizes from most of the shops in L Lane and Bellenden Road. If that all gets too much, there are 2 massage tents for a chance to relax (whilst being entertained by the choir and bands of G Green..). Free children's disco at the end of the day (around 3-3.30pm). Come and join us, all welcome!

So the weather is looking good for this Saturday and we have a choice of 10 hot food stalls for lunch!! Also ice cream and a good value bar.. What more can you ask for? How about a little merry go round for the children and 2 different massage parlours. Face painting, nails, tattoos, beat the goalie, lots of craft activities. Come to Goose Green from 12 noon!

Please all come along to the Goose Green Summer Carnival on Saturday 4th July 12-4pm. It's on Goose Green itself and there will be loads of tasty food options for lunch, a beer / Pimms tent, lots of lovely stalls, fun games and activities, a bouncy castle and slide, face painting and a raffle with fantastic prizes from most of the shops in the surrounding area! There might even be a little Triceratops that roars and moves for small ones to sit on (weather permitting) and massage options for parents to have a bit of relaxation. There will be entertainment from the children and a free children's disco towards the end of the day. Everyone is welcome! Goose Green PTA

Good Morning, Hope many of you made it to our school fair yesterday. We were very lucky with the weather with the rain starting 15 minutes before it was due to close. As you know it is stay and play at school this coming Tuesday and we will be following this with a picnic next Saturday 12th at 12pm on Goose Green. It will be at the end nearest the swings and we will be hoping for lots of sunshine or at the very least no rain. We are orgnaising a Picnic & Meet Up on Saturday 12th July starting at 12pm on Goose Green. Bring the family, a picnic & a blanket and come and meet all the new starters and the PTA members who will be there to help with any questions you have about the school and starting Reception. We typically have it at the end of the green nearest to the swings between a couple of the trees so there is shade from the sun (and rain if needed). It will be having a World Cup Theme (obviously) Its is our 11th and always a great event for the whole family and wider community. Last year we had glorious sunshine and a party atmosphere. It starts with a carnival procession of the children from the school led by the school samba drummers band, we will have numerous performances on our stage throughout the afternoon, raffle, face painting, food, ice cream, bar, games, bouncy castle and stalls. If you are a business and are interested in having a pitch at this event we are still taking bookings. The cost is ?35 for the pitch and additonal ?5 if you need to hire a table. If you are a local charity that would like to have a stall this is offered for free but table hire still applies. Well, what a fantastic day it was on Saturday. We hope all the other schools had as good a time as we did! Just a quick correction to a post above - The Goose Green school carnival parade will go down Oglander Road not Ondine road. Leaving school at 11:30am and theme is space so all the children will be wearing space related costumes.

Isn't that playground fab? The reception playground is lots of fun and pretty big too. Amazing what you can do with a bit of imagination. Have a lovely picnic nursery goers. We look forward to seeing you in September. The nursery is very much a part of the school community as are the parents so do join our mailing list to keep up to date with events.
