I bought absolutely loads for Bonfire night and NYE, so got plenty left over (we were so pissed on NYE we actually stopped letting them off as it was getting a little dangerous!). Also found some dumped pallets down Brixton way which we have dried out, ready to burn on Saturday night. Now all we need is the weather to hold out- fingers crossed!

Hi all, Its my birthday on Sunday, so I was thinking about having a big bonfire with some fireworks on Dawson Hill on Saturday night, with some friends*. I was wondering, are we likely to be disturbed by any busybodies, who don't like fireworks? Or any dog owners who think their dog is more important than God so no one should let fireworks off, in case it is scared? I appreciate that bonfires might not e legal in this area, but with everything else closed- how else am i expected to celebrate my birthday? *We'll all have taken a covid test earlier in the day, and we are outside anyway so covid will be non transmissible.

I often drink on the streets too, but will just grab a couple from the fridge and head out to meet people to socialise and get drunk around the East Dulwich area. Its great that the Palmerston is closed again, as we can just sit on the benches outside it boozing, and not pay their hideous pint prices. Shame about the weather meaning that sitting outside for more than say half an hour is rarely feasible.

I tend to make good use of these services, even though i am not vulnerable, shielding, old and decrepit etc. I use them to order large volumes of beers when on special offer, because frankly i cant be arsed to carry them from the shop across the car park into my car and then unload them again at home. I'd far rather the shop done the hard work and effort, seeing as the customer is king.

Like i said to you before, just say you live in Lambeth and go to one of the 3 testing sites, including Brockwell park, where you get your results in 30 minutes. I went yesterday and it is a great service.

The menu looks hilariously overpriced. Still, if you can source and serve Kingfisher Strong, then once we can again, ill pop down for a drink.

There is plenty of wealthy and pretentious areas like East Dulwich outside of London- although unlike the Champagne Socialists round here, you'll find most of them will vote Tory and be quite right wing.

I also fly tip because again it is linked to paid for services, this time council based. I dont feel i get value for money from my council tax payments so i make sure they are put to work for something, such as collecting my dumped Christmas tree.

Its a shame they do not burn very easily- with all the pubs etc closed, it wouldnt be the worst idea in the world, for social activity, to collect lots of them up and have a big bonfire in the garden, inviting some friends round for food and drinks etc. You have to make your own fun in lockdown!

If you want really cheap, the security in M&S is really lax- you can easily nick whatever you please from there. The only partial exception is stuff like steaks and pricey booze, which have security tags attached- although normally its just some old woman standing by the exit door (security guard at the entrance) so you can tell her to get lost if the alarm goes off and stroll on out.

I dumped mine on the pavement the next road along, so it doesnt clog up my own pavement on my street. Its a large specimen and i can see its still there- does anyone now when they are taken away?
