  1. William Rose accepts cheques. So does that pet shop on NorthCross Road, where I buy my husband's food.

  3. Spotted a man sporting a gold medallion, chest-wig, Bryl-creemed hair and nylon slacks that showed of his disconcertingly wide hips. He appeared to be soliciting female attention openly on the street. Do bear this in mind if shopping or having dinner locally.
  4. CTFU I think I have eaten from there and found it pretty nice but not mind-blowing. Not even earth-shattering. ojm Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm sure others will also have had the Dulwich > Tandoori takeaway menu through the door over the > last few days. 8. Green and Blue is actually very good. They don't do the hard sell and the staff are extremely knowledgeable but at the same time informal, approachable and not at all pushy. Nicolas, not sure I've ever been in there. Bossman, one of the workers there is just disgusting. Oddbins, reasonable wine selection (just about) but the staff I've met in there has no interest in doing his job at all. So my vote for best offy on LL goes to Green and Blue by a long shot. Not all of their wine is expensive either as I picked up a bottle for ?5-ish at one point.

Often paper bills or statements are needed for ID purposes, when opening a new bank account, applying for a mortgage or whatever. Fuck the postal strikers, I am sick of them!
  11. Is receiving post now a thing of the past. What is the latest status? Have Royal Mail closed down entirely for good?
  12. Writing is notoriously underpaid. I should know. I do it for a living. That said, it is the best job in the world IMHO
