My understanding is the British Heart foundation are more accepting of electrical goods. We bought a DVD Player from their bromley branch, and named them British SCART foundation (groan). -

I you make your own masks, you can buy metal strips from Really Maria (15 Lordship Lane). I find these hug the nose better than wire. -
