  1. Cannot recommend Brad and his team more highly. We have used Brad, and his team, for both interior and exterior work. They are always polite, efficient, tidy and extremely thorough. We always receive lots of compliments on their work and will not hesitate to use them again in the future.
  2. Hello! Can anyone advise on how well the lascal maxi buggy board fits to the Bugaboo Chameleon? And also, how easy it is to remove in order to fold the buggy up (to put in car...)? THANK YOU in advance x
  3. Hi everyone, Sorry to have been out of the loop...we're on holiday this week so won't be able to join you on the 25th sadly :-( Have a great night, and I look forward to meeting you all at the next do! xx
  4. Thank you to all for your replies, much appreciated. That's really kind to offer the real nappies spanners45 - I hadn't thought of using those - I do already have some that I got a while ago with the intent to use but never got round to it...I think I'll try that for now. Thank you for the kind offer. I've decided to leave it for now...feel really bad about the mixed messages...I was hoping to get him out of nappies before the second baby but wishing I'd never started now :-( Will keep on with bedtime potty time and perhaps a nappy free time each day for now. Oh and Pirate Pete is fab! My little boy loves reading it...def recommend..although it hasn't worked for us yet in terms of actual potty training! Thanks again x
  5. Hello, I'd really appreciate any advice anyone can give me about potty training my little boy. He is 2 years old and this is our second attempt at potty training. We tried about 6 weeks ago for 2 days - he happily sat on the potty but would hold his wee for hours rather than going on the potty so I stopped. I'm trying again now...it's been 2 days again and he is telling me when he wants to go wee wee, goes and sits on the potty, squeezes a tiny wee out and takes it to the toilet to flush...all great...BUT he's not really doing a proper wee, he's still holding as after doing these tiny wees for a few hours he'll start frantically running/dancing dripping wee drops everywhere before bursting with a giant wee. I'm really worried that he's going to get an infection or something as he keeps holding it for so long. I should say he has been in nappies at sleeptimes and filled them (incl. poo). Does anyone have experience of this? I've looked on he internet and they seem to call it "fear of elimination" but there's no real advice on how to overcome it. I don't want to keep sending him mixed messages...he seems to understand the concept just can't release. But I hate seeing him so frantic with all the holding it in. Can anyone help please? Oh and I had him in the garden all afternoon running round naked to see if he'd just go...same thing...would say wee wee time, do a tiny wee repeatedly until he bursts. :-(
  6. Hi Anna, Apologies - slight 'technical glitch' today...husband took the laptop into work so I've only just been able to logon! Ahem. Bit of a damp squid day...I love how optimistic you were this morning...it's was CHUCKING it down! We're not about next week as tied up with b'day activities. Would love to catch up with you and any other Winter baby mums the week after. Take care and hope to meet up soon, Suziexx
  7. Hello all! My little boy (turns 2 next week) and I are up for meeting up tomorrow afternoon in Peckham Park. I'm 23 weeks along now and would love to meet up with some other mums-to-be. Suzie xxx
  8. Come to the St Barnabas Toddler Group on Tuesday's between 0945 and 1115. There's plenty of friendly toddlers there to befriend :-) It is in the small hall at the back of the main church hall (entrance on side road by Audi dealer in Dulwich village) xx
  9. Hello :-) I'd love to meet up with other SAHM's too. I have a 17M old and find there is plenty to do locally in the mornings but find the afternoons (especially in the winter) draaaaaag when couped up with a toddler bouncing of the walls... would love to find a group that met in the afternoons x
  10. Hiya, We recommend the St Barnabas Playgroup in Dulwich Village on Tuesdays. It is open 0945-1115 in the hall behind the main parish hall (use side entrance). It's closed for the holidays now but reopens on the 11th Jan.
  11. Hiya, I have a 15month old and he would recommend.... St Barnabas Toddler Group (Dulwich Village) Tuesday 0945-1115 Goose Green Toddler Group (East Dulwich) Thursday 1000-1130 :-) Both are run by local parents in Church halls and cost ~?2 to attend.
