Anyone else been kept awake last night by loud humming noise ?

Is it a generator or something ?

Oh dear - generator the size of a small camper van located on forecourt nearby.

Ah well ,no doubt some tale of trouble and worse , neccesitating it's existence.

Looks like it's ear plugs for me and gratitude that I'm not living in the house it's supplying.

Maybe something else is cause of your problem.

I was informed by the bloke down the pub, who reckoned that his mate's brother-in-law had it on the best possible authority that Kraftwerk had bought a rehearsal space on BR and were practicing for their forthcoming 'Droning On And On' tour.

The humming is coming from the work being done on the ring-main extension at Honor Oak underground reservoir.

For the the life of me, I can't see why Kraftwerk would be working on a plumbing job. It makes no sense.

Tarmacing on the other hand, I can see that. They'd have some fun with it. Triple fun if necessary.

They strike me as being half-decent sparks as well.

Though I'd not give 'em a half day as chippies.
