Did anyone else see these?

Very bright orange lights flying from West to East at 12.05 am this morning. I counted 8 or 9 shapes flying in clusters of 2-3. Aircraft altitude but traveling much quicker than an aircraft.

I am usually very skeptical about these things... but just can't imagine what they might have been. Anyone else see them?

I saw something similar on Saturday evening but earlier, around 7.30pm, it was a flying/chiness lantern, they move steadily and are probably not at the same altitude as an aircraft - they are onl3 3 feet high so their 'smallness' may make them seem farther away.

Royal astronomer: 'Aliens may be staring us in the face'

... ?They could be staring us in the face and we just don?t recognise them. The problem is that we?re looking for something very much like us, assuming that they at least have something like the same mathematics and technology,? he said...

    • I know people won’t have any sympathy but the SEND challenge was brought up when taxing parents who have opted for independent school to meet a child’s SEND needs. Funding crisis is getting worse and the VAT on Education pushed children out of independent schools, now their SEND needs are to be met by the state.
    • I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
