I've had it done at Optical Express in Bluewater last year, can't recommend and praise the procedure enough, I've now got better than 20/20 vision and it's been 14 months since I've had it done, ocassional dry eyes but otherwise no side effects. I investigated lots of places and was very pleased with Optical Express, there after care was great too.

Had mine done a few years back by a saffer surgeon at Optical Express on Shaftesbury Avenue after researching pretty thoroughly. Its not so much about the place as the surgeon. Google under their name and look for genuine recommendations (there are a number of review forums - avoiding those which are bascially ads).

It was great - done without going under in about 30 mins, blurry for two days then absolute clarity..... followed by a much better looking girlfriend a few weeks after. Result!

    • There  is a dance fit class at Harris girls on a Monday evening 630 pm which I have been going to for years . It is an inclusive class  with a wide range of ages.    The  teacher is Fi and she is amazing and  the classes are lots of fun.   look on the web justdanceuk .com. There are other dance classes  (flowetic )that Fi and the lovely Lizzie runs  at Harris girls too . They also have an event next week which is a bit further- near Penge  which is a day of dance to include  just dance fit, dancehall, line dancing, garage fit and flowetic . Which is also available to book on that website  ( look at the events section) .
    • that’s just been misused first by Faraz and then Starmer. It’s evocative and negative.  But it’s flooding the news today.
    • I didn't realise that either! I thought it just meant division within communities - religious, racial or otherwise.  Yes, it is frightening. The days of the broad church political party are over.
    • So I've done a little more research into the current use of the word, I hadn't realised it had latterly been used to describe anti Muslim feelings. Still don't like the use of the word. These are horrible times and am fearful for the future.
