Package holidays for single parents?

I'd really like to take my 5 year old on a holiday - week in sun type thing - this summer but all the quotes I get charge him as an adult. Does anyone know any package holidays which cater for single parents?

Friend went on one with Small Families I think it was called but wasn't cheap but she said it was great to be part of group. What about getting cheap flights aer lingus are doing to Malaga for ?29 each way at moment and hiring a cheapish apartment or reasonable hotel

Here's a few others. I've looked into some holidays travelling on my own with my 1 1/2 year old but they do work out pretty pricey. How about teaming up with a single mum mate and go on holiday, that way you will be 2 adults + 2 children and not have to pay the extra cost of single parent holidays.
