skip
Hi,Any good tips for removing banana stains from clothing? candj
I didn't even realise bananas stained either?! I guess they oxidise and go black or something. Have you tried the vanish spray in the hot pink bottle? That usually works for the more serious stains in our household (spag bol, chocolate, etc).Hope that helps. Kaiserin
I couldn't believe banana stained cothing either. Until having a baby who loves squishing banana everywhere.Skip, I have resorted to rinsing clothing straight away, just with warm water, before chucking it in the washing machine. you have to get the little brown pieces completed rinsed out or they turn to big brown splodges! Am going to try the Vanish spray. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10158-banana-stain-removal/#findComment-300956 Share on other sites
snowboarder
Banana not allowed in our house unless baby covered in full body/arm cover bib. Actually this rule goes for all food atm! Ann
I'd like to second the Vanish Spray. All I do is spray the affected areas before I chuck it in the washer at the usual temperature. Banana stains aren't an issue with me these days but grass stains on cricket whites is another story. If Vanish can work on those stains I rest my case.:) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10158-banana-stain-removal/#findComment-301014 Share on other sites
