sanity girl
The bog standard Ikea white plastic highchair with metal legs is good - really cheap and very easy to clean. You can also get a clip on tray for it. If you are prepared to spend more, then I would really really recommend getting a Stokke tripp trapp - I got mine for about ?80 second hand from gumtree, and you can sometimes find them to pick up locally on ebay. They are great because they are adjustable so you can keep using them as your baby grows into a toddler and beyond, and they look more like a normal chair, can be tucked under the table, etc. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10159-highchairs-recommendations/#findComment-300762 Share on other sites
Fuschia
Ikea!! Fab. You can also take the legs off and take away with you on holiday etc.You can get a blow up insert if your bbay is a bit floppy still. Kalamiphile
That sounds interesting! Is that the white plastic support cushion shown on the baby page? snowboarder
another vote for ikea antelop with insert. Although babySB is sturdy and 11 months we still use the insert - helps with avoiding him smearing stuff all over his clothes as he is totally wedged in! njc97
Another vote for ikea. We originally got a nice wooden chair with cushion. Looked good but cleaning it a bit of a hassle to get into all the cracks. The antelop is much easier to just wipe down with a cloth, plus as fuschia says, you can easily take legs off and take away with you on holiday/to visit grandparents etc. And it costs ?11 in a choice of colours! Sonja
I got a lovely one from ikea too which folds up flat and goes in a cupboard. I think it's this one: Ikea highchair. My daughter still fits in it at 2. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10159-highchairs-recommendations/#findComment-300858 Share on other sites

Belle
You can take the tray off and chuck it in the dishwasher too... Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10159-highchairs-recommendations/#findComment-300992 Share on other sites
