That sounds good!

Though my grandchildren wouldn't like it. We once went to Paul's and they both rejected their hot chocolate on the grounds that it was "too chocolatey" :)) :)) :))

Pleasantly surprised to hear melange is still going. Agree it's the best place for proper hot chocolate & chocolate.

The shop was like walking into someone's dimly lit living room, cat curled up on the armchair, lamps, cushions, no-one visible behind the counter then a shout from the back. A rare find in these days of bland homogenisation.

I was going to come on and recommend melange as well but I see you've been and decided they didn't have the packaging you wanted. One idea for future would be to buy a nice box to put the chocolate bars in and tie it with some ribbon. I'm sure the various gift shops would have something suitably posh looking.

A good idea, but I didn't have time to trawl round looking, and I suspect any boxes from a gift shop round here would have cost as much as the chocolate, if not more!!!

I do miss Hope and Greenwood, they had a range of boxes in different sizes for their chocs, fairly basic but nice.

But Sue, you could have finally used one of those really useful East Dulwich shops that sell little boxes, ?6 greetings cards and tiny cushions :-)
