We once went to Paul's and they both rejected their hot chocolate on the grounds that it was "too chocolatey" :)) :)) :)) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/101735-where-can-i-get-nice-chocs-in-ed/page/2/#findComment-988233 Share on other sites
numbers
Pleasantly surprised to hear melange is still going. Agree it's the best place for proper hot chocolate & chocolate. The shop was like walking into someone's dimly lit living room, cat curled up on the armchair, lamps, cushions, no-one visible behind the counter then a shout from the back. A rare find in these days of bland homogenisation. LondonMix
I was going to come on and recommend melange as well but I see you've been and decided they didn't have the packaging you wanted. One idea for future would be to buy a nice box to put the chocolate bars in and tie it with some ribbon. I'm sure the various gift shops would have something suitably posh looking.
