Train Travel from ED/PR/Denmark Hill to Birmingham (best train website?)

Can anyone advise me the best website to go to to book a day return ticket next Thursday? Can the travel from this area be included in the ticket? I have heard that sometimes it is better to book two singles. I can travel from any of the above three stations. Any help gratefully received.

I travel to Birmingham 2-4 times a month.

I've found the most relaxing way to do this is bus or walking to by Denmark Hill then train to St.Pancras. Then walk 5mins to Euston. Then train from Euston to Birmingham.

I've generally found the cheapest way is to buy seperate train tickets and really get a cheap deal from Virgin TRains for the Euston to Birmingham part.

I'm from Brum, so go back there quite regularly. The cheapest ticket is on the Chiltern line from Marylebone to Birmingham Moor St or Snow Hill, which are both just as central as New Street station, although it takes a bit longer than the Virgin train from Euston. It's just a bit of a pain to get to Marylebone from this neck of the woods - the Bakerloo line from Elephant and Castle might be best.

      Most of the groceries shops in Lordship Lane have a security presence…curious thing is I and another woman recently saw a shop lifter lift and not pay for a couple of packet of steaks, veg and bottle of wine..  Literally walked Pat the tills, one member of staff and security guard despite someone else going in front by a few people and mentioning person in question! I have to say, speechless and admired their bravado - I would not have the guts and knowing my luck, if I accidentally didn’t put something tru the till despite receipt would prob get stopped! Yes, worked with families, homeless and other people who were struggling for food so I do understand why they do it.. sad when you think about it, that in this day and age, all sorts of c people need assistance and help from community in general, food banks, olio etc….

      Just not keen to have all these  things  in my body… having said  that, thinking about Covid again as need to come to London to two hospitals for poss overnight stays.

      And another one, number 6, has just gone passed as well!  I presume that the LTNs are blocking them from a more useful route. Or the surrounding road works.
