what happened to the sausages?

hi does anyone know what happened to the couple making and selling sausages on here? they were lovely but ive not seen a post on here since Christmas. Have they stopped doing them?

The small Sicilain butcher's shop on Evelina rd, Nunhead does great sausages, go on Saturday to try his slightly spicy Sicilain Sausages (sold by the length) as well as his pork Cumberlands.

I recommend the new Butchers (I'm told it's called Sargeant's - awaits signage) on LL opposite the little Sainsbury.

Very nice sausages, especially the provencal recipe.

Didn't wanna be greedy, like.

Meanwhile, I remember the wonderful Simply Sausages shops.

There was one in Victoria, one in Berwick Street and other places.

They made great sausages and at 4pm on a Saturday they'd sell for half price.

But then the supermarkets cottoned on (I must find out where 'cottoned on' came from) and brought out their specialist sausages so Simply Sausages sort of closed down, I think.

Not quite, Martin Heap founder of Simply sausage is "the expert" who creates the "real sausages" now for all the supermarkets

He is basically "sausage king" paid royally by the big boys in the market

He essentially sells his skills now
