Sorry I know threads been before but what do I do re projectile vomiting 11 month old? Currently just giving him water and b/f when he wants, with rice cakes out for him to pick up if he wants them....`Only been happening since lunchtime but already 3 'attacks'! Whats that BRAN thing or something? Bread and apple??

Sorry being flakey. Covered in baby sick.... He's now sleeping and am terrified he will be sick in bed....

hello

I can completely sympathise -

my 2 year old is throwing up today. was bright as a button this morning - took her to my 4 year old's first ever school assembly (in which she was the old lady in the enormous turnip - a very prestigious role!) and she threw up on the floor in the middle of it. I will know be known as "the one who's little girl threw up in the middle of assembly" for the next 6 years!

she was sick twice more this morning but has perked up a bit now

BRAT - is bananas, rice, apples and toast (i think!)

hope he feels better soon

hope

i hate it when they're ill.

Quite!!

And yes v cheery this morning until it came to lunch, I got cross as he wouldn't eat, picked him up and bleughhhh! He's never been sick before other than early milk stuff...

At least he's sleeping.....

Oh man - sorry to hear both of these tales of poorly babes.

Clux - I feel for you. My brother (aged 4) once threw up all over my Dad's boss while in a lift going up a lot of floors. He(the boss) was covered with no means of escape for what felt like a lifetime (a seriously career-limiting move).

Snowboarder - the projectile thing can really freak you out, on the plus side they may sleep slightly better tonight :-S. Prop him up a little more than you'd usually do, in bed. That might keep things down. I was covered in sick for a few days a couple of weeks ago - one word... Vanish oxyaction! (Oh yeah - that's 2!)

xxx

My 9 month old had same sort of thing last weekend - i found he tolerated weetabix and milk and babyrice and i have gradually weaned him back on to normal food. He is still not eating as well as before though so think going to take some time. Think there is quite a lot of stomach bugs going round.

hope baby snowboarder gets better soon
