pigeon problem

Recommended Posts

My window cleaner does bird spike fitting and various pest control sidelines. I've personally only used him for window cleaning though, and listened to his tales of 3 foot rats stealing French lace knickers, pigeons that use fake plastic owls as mating perches, etc. (Have you seen that fake owl above the entrance to the Aylesham Centre? White with pigeon poo. Clearly they find it about as scary as a bag of chips.)

I mostly mention it as you might find that other regular pest controllers and/or window cleaners also do pigeons, in case you haven't tried those routes already. I will give you his details if you really want them, but he's not especially local and I get the feeling not looking for extra work just now so wouldn't actually be my first stop for anything outside of the window round.

Hi I used Mark and Colin from K & O Pest control (featuring also on Deadliest Pests Downunder) for some unwelcome pigeons who'd entered the loft - provided cheerful and very effective service at reasonable cost also with very nice reassuring phone support to arrange the service. The business is a family affair and against the odds both guys seemed to love their jobs!! Tel 0208 778 1557

    • What is it that makes Waitrose so special! Admittedly I have shopped a couple of times in the Orpington and Beckenham one - sometimes buying food which I cannot get else where. Their 'basic range' is not bad. Price for price and quality - M & S.
    • Sometimes a shed or other installation has to have written approval from the freeholder i.e. Southwark, Southwark has (or did have) a Leaseholder Association.   Could also come under Anti Social Behaviour Unit.
    • Love Dulwich is great but has a large step in front. We have only been weekdays at Lunch time. Maria's next to Picture House is disabled friendly. Also can reserve table in advance. We did a Sunday lunch catch up with family - there were 8 of us.
    • Hi, Thinking about  going with some friends and was just wondering if folk might like to report back please. Most importantly sound level when busy & is it disabled friendly.  Thinking on a Sunday lunchtime but don’t want a busy busy environment or loud chatter - a couple of friends could not cope. Time can be flexible, if that helps - say 2 ish to avoid above.. Thanks…
