When I was an apprentice I had a boss who took great pleasure in waiting until I had finished something then yelling at me and getting me to re-do it for the most ridiculous reason. I took great pleasure in finding out that in his leisure time he was a frequent flyer at a well known dogging hotspot in the area and chipped in with the golden nugget of info at my leaving drinks. I think he retired soon after...

Sounds very sensible and I admire that you had the guts to leave and run your own business. However, I hope I'm not an insufferable employee as I do actually respect my boss (who is super-intelligent and brilliant at what they do, except of course for the occasional time they comment* on my work ha ha)

Yes thats tough if you don't agree with the company line and feel intellectually stifled.

    • You wouldn’t need to be Emily Thornberry to figure out which places are most likely to have them up cant believe the crap she got over that 
    • The scary thing is you dont have to travel far out of Dulwich to see the flags flying.
    • In part, it’s largely down to people not actually caring about anyone or anything else apart from their own gratification (btw, there are better ways to get a dopamine fix)
