TheArtfulDogger
Strange title to this thread, if it's a fox or cat then it's nature not murder Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/106044-birds-being-murdered-in-crystal-palace-road/#findComment-996744 Share on other sites
Muley
I live on Crystal Palace Road. Yesterday I came home with the decapitated corpse of a chicken. Then I ate it's liver with some fava beans and a fine Chianti. intexasatthe moment
Yes ,yes but sometimes when there's a lot of noise one does use the colloquial expression " sounds like murder " .I'm guessing Sue understands the distinction between murder and nature . Anyway apologies, maybe I should change the thread title to "Birds being very loudly killed in Crystal Palace Road?!?" but somehow it just doesn't have the same impact ..... Elphinstone's Army
Sue, 'birds being slaughtered' : even more dramatic : two weeks ago before the tree outside the nursery leafed, I saw a little bird sitting on a branch minding its own business, until a crow flapped down, scooped it up and flew away with it. Weird, eh? That poor starling made a lot of noise, but it was in broad daylight not after dark!
