63 to King's Cross

I am to take the 63 to King's Cross tomorrow morning (8ish). Websites read that it takes a "max of 60 minutes" is this reliable?

Can take 30min longer than that. Depends on how snarled up the traffic is.

A better bet, if possible, is to take the train from Peckham Rye to St Pancras and do the short walk across to Kings Cross.

I've always found the 63 reliable. A bit slow around Peckham and the Elephant but once you get by there it tends to move quickly. Normally takes 40 to 45 mins.
