Anyone fancy it?

Peckham Rye best for me if possible. Will have 18 month old and 5 year old (who always complains if it is 'only babies' to play with!).

Shall we 'tie a yellow ribbon to our old bug-gies' so we recognise each other (any colour will do really of course!!).

Baby normally sleeps over lunch time, but happy to let her do that in the buggy rather than miss another day like this!

I'm around and 3ish post nap is ideal for us, so I'll head to the picnic area. I know Mel and Molly... for others I've got a P&T Vibe (red seats), kids are 3 (boy) and nearly 2 (girl) with blonde hair, I've got short hair. I tend to spend a lot of time yelling "STOP", and "COME BACK", so the picnic area is ideal for us!

damn, little mans dead beat dad has come to visit for the first time in two months so I am obliged to spend time with him, would much rather see you girlies...think of me, gritting my teeth and silently chanting...you must be civil, you must be civil, ho hum!

have fun x

Not sure exactly but cycling over I think, probably from about 1pm.

Hubby now coming too so may have to divide myself between Gorky gossip and doting wifely duties LOL!!!

Really pleased people can make it, soooo lovely to see warmer weather at last.

Ooh, me and Tiny Man are up for this! He's wearing a t-shirt for the very first time, would be nice to get him and it out of the house!

I have a bugaboo bee (well, who doesn't really?) and a 16 week old who is a little porker. I look sort of bewildered and tired a lot of the time but most notably today I have my rose print cardi on (minus babby sick thus far, but it's early yet!) so if you see me wandering around looking lost, do give us a shout...

Hope to see some of you later!

Hope you all had fun. If the weather hold - maybe we can try and arrange something similar for next week. I have a my 18 month old and 4 year old boys on Monday and Tuesday so looking for some adult company on those days to try and preerve my sanity.

Curly Karen - hope you are still up for Monday and you managed to avoid throttling "good for nothing"!.

It was really nice to see you all and to put some faces to names. And SUCH cute babies to cuddle too :) My kids had fun, and C hasn't stopped talking about his new friend, your daughter has an admirer Molly. Although he is very insistent that his new friend is called Bolivia...

Was lovely to finally put some faces to names! Sebastian enjoyed it lots too, getting out and about makes him much easier to settle after his bath- he went down at 7 without any fuss...but was up again at 9.30pm. Never mind, it's all progress!

Hope we can do lots more park outings this Spring/Summer

:)

    • That's great you have the cat! Sorry to interfere, and feel free to ignore this, but it might not be a great idea to post your mobile number on a public forum? You can message the owner on the forum via a private message.
    • Copleston centre hire for adult parties
    • Most churches rent out halls for children's' parties but rarely adult parties, Christ Church only does afternoon parties,   The East Dulwich Community centre hires out halls to 9 pm only and all music needs to be on a sound restrictor as is in a residential area. St Johns with St Clements have a small hall but not sure if they allow adult parties. Nunhead Green has a newish community centre with a couple of different size halls. Most places seem to charge around £40 ph  with a deposit of £100/200 (returned if no damage or excess cleaning needed.
    • Hello, Recently there have been various comments made on the forum which have resulted in heated discussions being had. I for one, hold up my hand and wanted to personally thank whoever is keeping the forum going.. remember when it was likely to close. We are all adults and should known when it is right to continue or just ignore or if really feel it necessary comment via pm. I have had a long relationship with the forum and have bought, sold, offered advice and in deed made friends on the forum over the years. It is a public forum after all and everyone is entitled to express their opinion and is also free. I am not as tech minded as most but with the season of good will approaching and-knowing in this economic climate how many people are  struggling, I  thought it would be a lovely idea, to perhaps set up a just giving page to raise funds for a local charity who might appreciate a contribution towards their Christmas festivities… On a practical side, might just be to complicated to administer as I am sure all have charities that we support so my other thought was not me, as I am useless but to set up a just giving page and whatever monies are raised, perhaps contribute to the festivities that use to be run by local shops or whatever.. Maybe even use a local church hall and just make it special for perhaps folk that find it difficult to access events or no access for say wheel chair users.. guess really, one is looking for guidance from the church and of course volunteers. Shoot me down if you must or feel the need but this is my view and no, sadly I won’t be around in the months before Christmas but can help remotely.
