I'm a card carrying mascinist. I don't like those diet coke adverts.

I once had a female assistant - She could look a bit filthy sometimes, but as her boss I very professionally kept my distance.

But I was walking to the pub with her one Friday lunchtime and a bloke leaned out of the window of a passing white van and shouted:

"You don't even wanna fink about what I wanna do to you, love......"

I thought - that's disgusting - she loved it though, she was beaming and feigning embarrassment.

She was from Essex.

she loved it

Yes Mick, that's what they all say.

Oh, and "feigning embarrassment"??? Sweet mother of god man. Was she wearing a short skirt too? Hmm, I remember now why I originally decided not to comment on this thread.

It took us less than two pages to (broadly) divide into: "They all luv it up 'em really, you can tell by what they wear/where they come from/how filthy they look" and "Well if you weren't offended that's good, but generally speaking heckling isn't acceptable".

I'm not making a judgement on either view, but isn't that interesting?

She loved it. She told me - she had a filty laugh too.

She didn't really feign embarrasment - I was doing her a favour with that line. She looooveed it. She ran after the van down the street - but they got away.

Very funny Brum. In that case, can I throw a white stiletto in Mick Mac's general direction.....

Oh, I do believe I may have just fisked. Oops. I hope thats allowed in here.

No. Sorry - you didn't. Fisking is when an opponent's (longish) post is quoted in full but broken down into a series of individual points that are addressed one-by-one, line-by-line. You've just quoted normally.

Have you by chance seen me, Katie, in my previous life, as a greyhound down Romford dogs?

Everyone used to shout that at me, as I went round the last corner and headed for the finish......

I caught two yoots in a car filming my bum when I was cycling towards Peckham yesterday. I could hear a car driving slowly behind me and expected it to pass, but it didn't so I looked behind me and saw them grinning while the passenger filmed my bouncing arse on his camera phone. They then passed me by and honked.

I was stunned and am slightly concerned my arse may end up on You Tube!

    • Hi all My car was stolen between 1.30pm-1.50pm today in SE22 East Dulwich in South East London. I have of course reported this to the police but not much is being done, so I thought I'd give this a shot. The registration is GM66YOV, though its possible the licence plate may have been changed by now. If you see it anywhere please contact me or the police. Thankyou!
    • Years ago, got my ears pierced, alcohol on site, gun ..done.. Simple.. Gosh, surely your daughter of mothers can recommend  - do you really need to post on forum? Or maybe you home school whatever.. still recovering from shock, posted along the lines of, advice needed about adopting/ buying a dog…. Guess I am now at a age, where I should just keep quiet and pass no comment and read  postings like a “soap” - cheaper than tv licence…

    • I would'nt go locally I'd go to Maria Tash in Liberty..it'll be more expensive but they will do a good job and its their buisness not a 'sideline' to other beauty offerings. https://www.mariatash.com/store-locations/maria-tash-london-liberty?srsltid=AfmBOoqMz7Ev-4YqzrlkePX0n3i5JbiggGYSR9kU5z1p_ajP_jjQKqlt I have no experience of piercing at Polished but I went in to enquire about a manicure and I found the staff attitude pretty rude, looking me up and down when I walked in and just giving off a bad attitude like they just could'nt be bothered maybe because I'm not a glam 30 something? I dont know.
