millsa
maybe a silly question but I have been looking for nice brackets for a few shelves I need to put up, and they all look hideous. The brackets will be exposed and as the shelves are in our bedroom I need something simple but nice. Metal or wood, doesnt matter. any ideas? sanity girl
Hi, have you tried ikea? I used these ones for some shelves in my bathroom when I lived in Italy and they looked really nice up - the link doesn't give a very good idea of how they look up. They have plenty of other simple designs. ruffers
Or even these http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/60103632 and get rid of the bracket appearance question altogether.. sophiesofa
I have the ikea ekby ones above, the problem is that means you then have to have the ikea shelves, or some specially cut because of the thickness. They're fine but all (i think) veneer which you might not like. I know it sounds odd but people have complimented my brackets!
