I love Toni & Guy for really amazing cuts and colour, but they are rather expensive. He could get a free cut from the Toni & Guy Academy.

How long is his hair? He might be able to donate it for children's wigs (Little Princess Trust, or similar). They usually require 10 to 12 inches braided. xx

Cut Throat in Peckham - a Contemporary Barbers and Salon. David, who used to work at the Galleon and Wills B now works there doing both women and men's hair. Very cool and hip! Right next to Cafe Viva as well so you can have a coffee and cake while he get's his cut done!

Ohh, now, coffee & cake are sounding good - will check out Cut Throat, Thanks CoachBeth.

Not sure I can run to Toni & guy prices for him Saff, though agree they always come up trumps. His hair is long but not long enough I think - it's just past his shoulders.

Never heard of Blue Tit (or Pedlers come to that) - I must get out more! I'll google them & see where it is, prices etc.etc. - check them out.

Thanks team ;)

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

The Groom Room in DV did it in the end. I paid a bit extra (it being DV an' all) but he got a very good, very cool cut that he's delighted with - so it was worth it to me.

Thanks wonderful family-roomers

:)

Mems has a very manly feel to it. They have bottles of bourbon and brandy near the leather sofas... Always tempted to crack into them when my son is getting his hair cut!! Blue tit is tres cool looking from the outside. I wasn't very cool when I walked in and asked for a coffee when they first opened (it looks like a trendy cafe from the outside!)

    • I completely agree with you, Angelina. But it's worth noting that no one else has a problem with her, or finds her rude /  has mentioned her aggressively banging gates / ringing doorbells etc.
    • But I don't think that was what you meant, was it? But he can hardly be held responsible for what somebody else did! Just discovered I forgot to post the above  last night, and now it's overtaken by long posts.  I don't have sufficient knowledge  to counter some of what has been said above, some of which appears to be opinion rather than facts, so it would be pointless for me to say anything else.
    • I am sure our lovely Evri delivery team, who do a firkin hard job, take the time between drops to read the East Dulwich Forum 🤫
    • For every person like OP that moans their doorbell was rung and there was a knock on the door, there's someone else moaning that they didn't hear the delivery drivers. If you've ever done delivery work you'll know that loads of people's bells don't work. The delivery drivers probably goes to a hundred doors a day: press bell, knock door, drop package, move on. If you don't like delivery drivers, insist on delivery by Royal Mail where the workers have wages and a union - or just stop ordering shit online that's artificially cheap. But most of us (me included) don't want that
