brum
I've never smoked and am forever thankful for it. The thought of being addicted to something that can give me a painful early death (and having seen my father suffer, I know what I'm talking about) is enough to put me off forever. Sad fact is, smoking is an addiction that will probably end your life prematurely, no matter how much you say you enjoy it, or bleat about having your rights taken away. Huguenot
Nobody will disagree with that sentiment I'm sure. Tremendously succesful campaign. It's about diminishing returns, there's plenty else to focus on...Now, about cars.... brum
Yes indeed. Cars. Hundreds die in them every year. Hardly a mention of that. Then a few people die from swine flu. And all hell breaks loose. SteveT
What about the poor victims who die of swine flu in a car whilst smoking capstan full strength......bar studs serve 'em right. My buddies mother who never smoked throughout her life died of lung cancer, it was put down to her husbands second hand smoke.Since I stopped smoking the smell makes me feel physically sick. I just cannot be around people whilst they smoke and I find passing smokers in the street a stomach churning experience when I catch a blast of their smoke.
