Poetry Event: An Evening With: Kei Miller and Mona Arshi (1 July)

Recommended Posts

Part of the 2016 Sydenham Arts Summer Festival 1-10 July 2016.

Kei Miller won the 2014 Forward Prize for his work ?The Cartographer Tries to Map a Way to Zion? ?which Hilary Mantel chose as one of her favourite books of 2014. He ?speaks and sings with rare confidence and authority? (Lorna Goodison).

Mona Arshi has created a storm of appreciation with her debut ?Small Hands?, winning the Forward Prize for best first collection last year. A tender book about the interplay of culture and the loss of a family member.
