The Artists Trail team invite you to take a tour of central Sydenham and the fringes of Forest Hill to meet artists in their homes, take part in their workshops and enjoy art in the high street. Visit the sub-site now: http://sydenhamarts.co.uk/artists-trail/


The Artists Trail has three main ?clusters? of open houses: on and around Sydenham Road; on and around Mayow Park and on and around Dacres Road.


This year there are more group exhibitions: old favourites the Brockley Potters will be at Normanton Street Methodist Church on the first weekend with Adult Learning Lewisham exhibiting there during the second weekend; the Painting for Pleasure art group are at Perry Rise Baptist Church on both Saturdays; nine artists, including printmakers, jewellers, photographers, sculptors and woodcarvers together with a stunning site specific installation, will be showing at Dacres Wood Nature Reserve and Field Centre on both weekends; the Lovely Gallery Open exhibition showcases the work of more than 100 artists and will be open on most days during the festival; finally don?t miss the ?Sellotape Sculpture and Beyond? exhibition by home-educated and schooled children ? the next generation of Sydenham artists.
