Two years ago on the 22nd Dec I was involved in a hit and run accident on East Dulwich Grove at 5pm.

I suffered a lot of pain, multiple fractures in my leg, damaged shoulder and a nasty bash to my head.

I've chased Police, Councillors and tried to get people to sign a petition - all to no avail. I have even offered to stand on East Dulwich Grove to collect signatures.I am still attending Kings College Hospital and having Counselling because of the accident which badly affected me physically and mentally. Every single time I go to LL I see a near accident on East Dulwich Grove. It really frightens me watching people trying to cross here. It won't be long before someone is badly hurt again. It's taken two whole years to come anywhere near a full recovery, I worry that someone could be killed here. I will continue to chase help to improve this junction and others like it. Please feel free to sign the above petition and ask your neighbours and friends to do the same. Thank you

    • Diwali starts 12th October. Is there any way to predict where and when fireworks will be going off? We also have November 5th, Halloween and then New Year and Chinese New Year. Given the availability of low noise fireworks, does anyone else think it is anti social to let off the noisy kind?
    • if you have safeguarding concerns, please contact social services. Unfortunately, financial abuse of the elderly is an ongoing problem. In my professional life I investigated a large number of cases where the elderly person lived alone and was befriended by helper/carer/gardener/ church visitor etc.  However, this may not be the case in this instance.
    • Was shopping in the big Tesco the other day, got to the tills to find all the staff on the manual tills had gone home and that there was only ONE automatic cash machine actually working. Massive queue, each customer was taking over 10 minutes which was extended by individual complaints of clubcard offers not being honoured and the staff blindly telling the customers they were lying and said customers having to prove themselves by walking to the shelves where the offers are clearly displayed. Even more infuriating when one woman hogged the machine for half an hour and paid with card! On the only working cash machine! Told the staff, no apology, he just rolled his eyes and walked off. Absolutely ridiculous.
