I like maps and the weather and have been following the Live Lightning / Thunderstorms across Europe and the U.K.


I was suprised to notice for the first time that Great Yarmouth was further north than Coventy and Birmingham.


and Aberdeen being further north than Coppenhagen and level with Nothern Denmark.


Thats amazing..

Great fun when theres a Thunderstorm nearby.. see where the lightning struck

Lose the North Atlantic Drift and it won't seem such a surprise....

    • I know, but I was interested to see his reply. Though that will probably be incomprehensible as well. 
    • The hospice shop takes items as "rags" which are in too poor condition to sell, so I presume if they find clothes they can't sell amongst donations, these are also treated as rags? I presume they go  somewhere to be recycled in some way?
