Anyone else noticed they've been particularly loud recently?

Beauregard, my son, runs crying into my room at 5am sharp every morning when these beastly things begin their tuneless braying.

WHY are the council not doing anything? Is this not what I pay my council tax for? When I used to live in Hampshire we used to sort things like this out the old-fashioned way - with birds of prey and shotguns - I'll wager those Southwark council beaurocrats have some petty bylaw against this, as usual.
