Maybe not....

Really?. I've seen him on a couple of other interviews and he seemed a pretty decent chap. Maybe like some actors he has a chameleon like ability to adapt to his surroundings, and well, being on the Jonathan Ross show....

I thought last night's drama was quite enjoyable. It was total bunkum, it was predictable and utterly clich? ridden (I thought they could have called it Lutherl Weapon 6) but it was well executed, great cast and will probably grow into itself a little.

I mean come on, it's from the writers of spooks so it was never going to be gritty and plausible was it.

Well....

Soz to "dis" an all that

But I heard him in another interview & his real name isn't really "Idris"

And yes he was acting a bit of a cock on JR ( which in it's self is a "cock" show )

But as mrs woof said..

"It's not the acting bit I'm interested in......"

Soooo, make of that what you will ( dirty cow )

I loved Spooks because the lead was a woman, a blond attractive woman at that, played by an actress who could act, and I'm thick enough never to see plots even though I am a writer.

Luther was so way over sold which put me off and I also did not like Idris on J Ross, for various reasons, but I shall watch it on the playback thing on me BT Vision but only because of the above references!

(When I am not watching each and every episode from my Persuaders DVD!)

    • Yes, if you think they have been complicit in this. When you say you "had to" accept the lower price from your buyer, was that because of the timing of your purchase?
    • Thanks. I know that's the most obvious solution, but there are other factors, as mentioned above. Also, whilst I was relieved to discover from a post above  that Zipcar has no upper age limit, my  daughter has pointed out that modern cars (mine is a 1998 Micra) have features (like no obvious  handbrakes, apparently)  which would be fine if I was buying a new car and could get used to them, but less fine if I am using a hired car occasionally and don't know where anything is or how to use it! This would probably be no problem  if I was younger, but I am now  nearer eighty than seventy, and apart from dwindling brain cells, I am prone to anxiety, which not being able to locate or use the handbrake on a hill would not help 🤣 For various reasons I have decided to keep the car. I will just have to make fairly frequent long trips to keep the battery charged.
    • My partner and I found a bike trailer today in the street in East Dulwich. We have it safe. If yours is missing, please get in touch with the description of the trailer (make, model, colour etc) and of any items lost with it. My number is 07849312318
