Can I borrow a wheelchair? or do King's lend out?

Sorry, slightly crazy request and am not sure anyone on here would have such a thing (or if they do am sure they will need it) but I have broken my ankle and for next few days cannot bear weight on it - my crutches are hurting my hands (blisters forming already!) so finding it hard to get around....would just love to get out and about for the weekend so friends can wheel me about...King's are treating me - do they lend out wheelchairs? - was in such a state yesterday, never asked..

Southwark wheelchair service - Although this requires a GP referral and it sounds like you're after a short term quick fix.

It sounds as if you are trying to do too much emc,

calm down and get a good book,

and when friends come, give them the number of a takeaway.

Wear gloves to save your hands blistering and do LESS.

You can hire a wheelchair fairly cheaply through The Red Cross.
