mummydaddyme
It turns out that our baby is allergic to cats and we have two. We've spoken at length to the gp and a few other professionals and it seems that our best option is to try and re-home them. They are mum and son so we'd like them to go together. Does anyone have any ideas on our best plan of action? BeccaL
Battersea might take them - we got our cats from there when their previous owners couldn't keep them when they moved house. Saffron
I wouldn't put them through the shelter process unless it's an emergency. Shelters are full tof the brim and are stressful environments.Try all the local forums first? Since you're just rehoming (not selling), ED Forum admin will allow you to post in classifieds. You can also try local Facebook groups: SE4 Families, or Pets of Telegraph Hill. Speak to your vet as well. They may know someone who came foster them in a home, rather than a shelter.Good luck. xx Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/113260-daughter-allergic-to-cats-what-to-do/#findComment-1018880 Share on other sites
