Hi all,

in a nutshell, I will have soon-to-be DH around for a week before the wedding and several afterwards. In the week before the big day, I am torn between us really tackling our son's sleep or do we just spend time together as a family and leave the sleep training for another time??? It'll be a hard slog as our son is now so stubborn he fights sleep until he's in our bed and will literally whine and thrash about in his cot for 2hours!!! He had started to sleep through but that only lasted a few weeks before he went back to his old ways. Woe.

And who knows .. maybe over night again he'll go back to sleeping through just in time for your big day! But at the moment family time is a great idea and a must surely ;-) and he's probably be feeling your stress and anxiety in the build up that some relaxing special time may be just what you all need ..

All the best and enjoy it!!

    • Charity shops have really good board books, especially St Christopher's
    • It was indeed in the vicinity of DKH. I live on the ED estate and I could tell it must be close by because of the noise. When I left my house this morning I found the culprits litter still in the middle of the st. It looked like they had lit a whole box on fire in the middle of the road. My cat jumped out of her skin. I’ll try and report it on Southwark website same as I have had to with other illegal use this week. Any other ideas for what we can do with the photos? Maybe one of the Southwark councillors. It’s outrageous and dangerous behaviour.
    • Had another great meal there…. those that haven’t tried it, give it a go.. have a special lunch menu as well so you can get a flavour of the food.
    • If you "cotton on" and read the council announcement, it clearly states "The library will be closed from 17 November until late June or early July 2026."  https://www.southwark.gov.uk/2025/dulwich-library-closing-refurbishment
