1,200 children (including many SE22 residents) go to primary school on or within 150 metres of Honor Oak Road. This residential road is used as a cut through from the South Circular by large, highly polluting lorries. The pavements are very narrow and the levels of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) pollution breach EU regulations. Children and the elderly are particularly vulnerable to pollution.

To sign a petition asking Lewisham's deputy mayor to ban lorries from Honor Oak Road in order to increase road safety and reduce pollution visit:

    • How very dare you. Rest assured, if it were intended to be comedy, it would have been funny.

    • I want to recommend the kitchen fitters Top Marx kitchens. They were excellent from the communication, the planning and the fitting. John did a fantastic job of of fitting and worked around and solved many of the issues we had with Ikea who we purchased from. John gave lots of helpful advice and support. We would definitely use them again for any kitchen work. I have added before and after photos.
