Hi Rosy we met yesterday as you were going to a friend s bday party

we met supermarket and we had little chat but didn t dare asking you for a phone number as i can be shy sometimes..:)

came back to the supermarket five min after leaving to ask your contacts but you and your nice bike were gone already:(

get in touch if you read this

I also experienced a missed connection several weeks back and I cannot get her out of my mind. Have you heard of 'quodar dating', you could always see if she's checked into the supermarket? They were on the radio last week. You may or may not find her but good luck anyways.

pato it seems to me that you need some tips on modern etiquette -

in the first place, your post reads as though Rosy missed her (train) connection

if she lives in West Norwood what are the chances of her being on this forum? realistically

Rosy with the nice smile is more personal than nice bike, as this sounds slightly envious

and where your true interest lies

It is not done to ask for contact details, offer your own.

And avoid being given a wrong/incorrect number.

You can only hope to see her again sometime - if she is friendly and personable you could

be one of many people she speaks to during the course of her week and your encounter will

not impact on her sensibilities

Do not haunt the supermarket and become a creepy stalker

You are assuming a possible connection - perhaps Rosy was being polite who knows, you have to be

fatalistic about these things.

    • tried the traditional beef empanada yesterday and it was amazing honestly, hotter and better than the other place (no offence!). I really don’t see the issue with having more than one of the same type of shop – we’ve got Indian restaurants, two supermarkets, two cheese shops, two pizza joints, even two paint shops! So I don’t get what all the fuss is about. Good food is good food, and there’s room for everyone.

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!
