Hi has anyone experienced problems with these people (they are southwark council contractors. Their website is non-existent. Not going into detail, but if anyone has contact details it would be much appreciated.

No problems whatsoever....they have NEVER started work before 8am. They have NEVER worked at the weekends. And they have cleared up what little mess they made- which is a VAST improvement on the awful private mob that did an extension near me.

No problems hard working very neat professional work on properties ny area polite always greeted me ask how i am and ny neighbours.

Know was issues previous thread bellenden road area much better than otger company seen in area alot.

Hello Toffee, i started a thread approx a year ago about Saltash, when the contracting company carried out majore works on my street. i have to say my experiences are not as good as the ones on your thread.

The main failings was a not so proactive liaison officer. If you get a good one of those, most things seem to fall into place!! Are you having some private work carried out by them, or are they carrying out major works on your street?

Toffee, my experience also differs from up thread. Drunk workers (leaving cider cans on the scaffolding) substandard work, painting windows shut. Dreadful experience which we are still now working on to put right.

I can relate to most of the complaints about this company. Absolutely dreadful, slapdash work.

i have never called them but i am looking for roof repairs service providers. any recommendations?
