Can anyone recommend a good mortgage advisor locally please. Also need a good conveyancing lawyer too. Many thanks.

I realise this is very late in the day but I can strongly recommend Springtide Capital.

Julie Johnson is the broker we used. She was helpful, calm, kind and very clear.

I'd highly recommend Dan Stevenson. He isn't based in ED, we do most of the communication via email or phone call but he is really good at answering queries promptly and clearly. And we met to sort out paperwork and he's efficient and well prepared. Much better than the other two advisors we used previously.
