It's good to see Loony Sols abdication from the dark side to win trophies still hurts spurs fans after all this time.

Couldn't agree more, but I just hope he'll get to remain as captain. Firstly I think he'd do a better job, and secondly, I would love to see Terry lose it the cocky tw@t!

As for Ferguson suggesting Ferdinand.... WTF?!?!?

Glad we can all agree on something, he may be a good player (it pains me to say), but he's not too bright, and is no captain.

I'm a believer in running it from midfield, and unsurprisingly Gerrard gets my vote every time. However, if not him, then I'd be looking towards Gareth Barry, or possibly Owen Hargreaves... Guess we'll have to see what the new manager will do... I really really hope he has the bottle to keep Lampard on the bench and use him as a possible goal scoring sub, or to replace Gerrard should the need arise.

Barry and Gerrard have been the most convincing midfield pair of recent years by a mile.

The grown ups are talking , now run along and go back to bed. Anyway, you will note we are talking about current Engalnd players you lame brain. Typical Man Ure supported, zero brain power, just like Rio.

Yet another pussy who wouldn't say boo to a goose, and is very brave behind the anonymity of the internet. I expect nothing less from a paddy Man Ure supporter. See, we can both do racial stereo typing.

i do apologise however if you continue to drag the conversation down, which you do on a regular basis and is the reason why this little spat has started, you will get a similar response.as for the anonymity of the internet you would never ever talk to me like that in public so dont do it when hiding behind a username. if you have nothing constructive to say, then say nothing.

Trust me I'd talk to you exactly like this in public. Why is it that you don't take exception what Jah says or Keef, both who agreed with me. Or do you have some sort of agenda? I don't rate Ferdinand never have done, never will. You can like it or lump it. That's my opinion.

it did actually use to be a nice place and i know im no angel but the sheer amount of vicious filth that comes from atila is making it an unpleasant place to be and im surprised and disappointed that the admin has not stepped in on this before. to reinforce my point you want to have a look at the offensive and threatening private messages that atila is sending to me and admin if you are able to access the area id like you to have a look at it as well please and take some action.

What a coward, start a ruck and run off home for your tea.

    • Thank you, this really made me chuckle. It's like you met my brother as he would be the one taking more than his share. Plus the 'pikey' chutney is a winner. Unusual as in can't be identified??? Sadly I'm not the host otherwise I would definitely do that I regularly shop in the Cheese Block and am a fan. But as people have pointed out, there is no cheese shop that charges less based on bulk, so Aldi unusual cheeses may be what the familam receive! Yay, so I can get discounted mouse nibbled cheese still! Oooo, now I do love a Stinking Bishop. It actually offends my stepmum by it's stinkiness but luckily she is not one of the attendees at this particular gathering.  This is blooming genius. It's actually my partner who has the biggest issue with buying in plastic so I will have to hide the wrappers from him!
    • I like the look of SD's Sweet and Sour chicken. It's a really good dish when made freshly and well. I'll need to try it. Sad that Oriental Star and Lucky House by Dulwich Library both closed at a similarish time. They were decent, reliable, "British Chinese" takeaways.
    • William S Spicer was a family-owned firm that initially made horse drawn delivery carts for breweries (especially Fullers Brewery in W London) and horse-drawn trams. With the advent of the internal combustion engine, they successfully made the transition to coachbuilding delivery vehicles London's leading department stores using German engines. WW2 interrupted their business for obvious reasons, and their postwar attempt to become the local assembler and distributor of Bulgarian "Izmama" trucks was not blessed with good fortune. In 1953, the company pivoted to being a full-service garage, leveraging their reputation for honesty and excellence.  In 1972, the Dulwich site was sold to its present owners. William S Spicer III (the grandson of the founder) retired to Lancashire, where he founded a sanctuary for the endangered ineptia beetle, which he had encountered in Bulgaria while travelling for business. In 1978, Spicer was awarded an OBE for conservation, and a newly-discovered  beetle was named after him by the Bulgarian People's National Academy of Sciences - Byturus Spicerius.
