If you win you are the smugest people on the planet. If the result doesn't go your way - it's everyone elses' fault and you feel victimised because you haven't spent as much, or the ref was biased, or your players are targeted.......

Does my head in.

Torres was clearly a waste of money being the second highest goal scorer in the Premiership this season (which as if you don't already know this, is his first). What was Rafa thinking?!

It's funny how we are labelled as being smug when we win, and are seen as blaming everyone else when things don't go our way, because of course NO other fans do that do they, especially not, god forbid, Liverpool fans???? And when we have the audacity to claim there was a perfectly good shout for a penalty turned down, not for the first time in recent weeks, we are called whingers. Isn't that strange.

Dude, you lost it when Alan Dale was kind enough to point out to us all how much you hate Americans! ;-)

Atila, all other fans moan when things don't go their way, it's the way they moan. Case in point... Mourinho will never ever take his hat off to Liverpool, he will, til the day he dies, say that we never beat them and that it was "the goal that wasn't". Now, that goal from Garcia was iffy, I won't deny it, but it stood, and over the 2 games we were good for the result.

I just hope that IF (and it's still a very big if) Liverpool knock the Arsenal out next week, you guys won't be going on about a penalty that wasn't in years to come...

Oh! chill out for f**k's sake!

Only saw the slimmest of highlights on the BBC News. But what I will say is this .....I didn't think it was a penalty (Dives for cover). You have the audacity to call Torres a diver. Hleb or should that be Pleb went down at the merest of touches like he'd been shot by a sniper (runs for the hills).

Sometimes you get the breaks, sometimes you don't. All to play for at Anfield and this time I hope to watch the game in full down the pub. Come on the Pool!!!!>:D<

Honestly, when I read through this latest bit of thread about last night's game I was laughing so hard it hurt. Atila, you're just too easy to wind up. Don't let it get to you. Seriously, I was joking about the penalty and I just knew you'd bite.

And, no I'm not in the slightest bit jealous of you're club's success. Really I'm not. Good luck in the 2nd leg. I just want to see an enteraining game with plenty of goals and may the best team win.

    • Another bite for JAGS ( James Allen Girls school) classes are excellent too. There is also Dulwich boys but less light and airy )might be better nor as haven’t been for a while)
    • Photos. Every single piece of litter in that photo (if you enlarge it you can see lots more pieces) was dropped by the bin men in the background. I don't blame them - it would destroy their backs to pick it all up. Perhaps they should try to not drop so much litter in the first place...  These photos were taken on the 1st March - a Saturday. The street cleaner, who does an excellent job around Underhill Road and Melford Road, bags up the rubbish and leaves them on a Thursday generally. They are supposed to be collected the same day or the next day at the latest. They weren't collected. The first photo was November. It was a very large number of poo bags. I reported it to Southwark but they took 3 days to collect it. In the meantime the bags were squashed and the faeces was spread everywhere, photo 2. It would mean that everyone who walked along that bit of road will have spread it a bit further, along with the vehicles, so that it went into a lot of people's houses.  Over to you Sue. In this photo you can see the litter that was dropped by the bin men (I feel bad as they are really nice and work really hard often going into people's properties to get the bins that weren't put out - usually at a semi-jog speed; it must be exhausting and its not their fault that Southwark doesn't give them enough time to do their job properly. Maybe they should sack their team of EDF astro-turfers to save some money?), the split blue bag with some birds sorting the contents on the pavement, and the refuse truck in the background. I don't blame the workers, I blame Southwark. I am also annoyed at you, Sue, for saying this is an exaggeration and is basically a lie; something you do all over the forum (along with the cycling trolls). I have a lot more pictures too.
    • No need to provoke you since you respond constantly to everything. It is not a gross exaggeration - I took photos. Do you not like people answering back? A bit head girl aren't you. Unkempt roads and weed-lifted pavements with dog faces bags all over the place - when the blue bags, which are regularly not collected by the LA, are split open by foxes. Again, I have photos.
