It's all kicking off at the top of Upland Rd. Police, ambulance and, I think, fire brigade. Anyone know what it's all about?

there are police cars outside the house next to the new buildsthis morning? someone set fire to the pile of stuff that was dumped outside the house

Grrrrr, that huge pile of rubbish is a total eyesore. I emailed the council about it and urge other Upload Road residents to do the same as the council worker told me the more, the better.

who has dumped it there? upland road looks so lovely these days until you reach that last house!

I don't know but looking at the rubbish I would say it's whoever is living in the flats newly converted, next to the quite-weird-looking flats currently being built. It's mattresses, quilts, books, rubbish bags, household rubbish really. If it's not them, then someone is taking the time to take their own rubbish there which is quite unlikely.

There has always been quite a lot of rubbish dumped there since that house was converted a couple of years ago but nothing on this scale.

I also rang the council about it because it had been there for weeks, it was rubbish thrown out from one of the flats in the house, at least two skip fulls of rubbish. They told me they were going to visit, obviously didn't do anything about it. Looks like the fire has caused quite a lot of damage to the windows.
