mightyroar
Can anyone else hear this? I live on Crystal Palace Rd and it sounds like it's coming from the street behind which is Ulverscroft. It sounds like an alarm clock but it's been going on for hours so it cant be.Or am I actually a cylon and I'm about to find out I've been one all my life and just never knew? dv1
It is a legal requirement that any house/building alarm stops after 20 mins. If this hasn't, ring Southwark Noise, they are excellent at dealing with this sort of thing. tarafitness
The yappy dog that barks without fail every evening is rapidly driving me insane, I'm on Worlingham and I'm pretty sure it comes from Crystal Palace Rd but could be wrong... trees obstructing the view etc, do wish they'd take it indoors! :-/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12169-alarm-going-off-driving-me-slowly-insane/#findComment-341164 Share on other sites
Earl Aelfheah
There is a permabark dog on Rodwell Road (possibly Heber). I'm considering canineacide. It came to a head one day when there was a thunderstorm and the poor thing was howling and appeared to be terrified. The council sorted this out very quickly, apparently the owner had not realised the dog was barking, as he left it in the garden when he went out :-SThey tracked the house down, spoke to the owner and it never happened again.I can't remember what department of the council dealt with it - I had originally phoned the RSPCA and they told me to phone the council - but I'm sure the switchboard will know. tarafitness
Thanks Sue, might have to resort to that... Sure enough it has just started up again... Wonder if the owner works nights?!!So frustrating as sitting in garden trying to study on what was a lovely peaceful evening!!
