Hello,

I have a slight phobia of getting my hair cut. I'm not sure what it is that I dislike but the whole notion of going to the hairdressers slightly freaks me out.

Anyway, I am getting real fed up with my long lanky hair and need a decent (but cheapish) haircut!

I've been to a few round ED but not very happy with the cut so I tend to just not go..

Has anyone got any good suggestions which will not cost me a day's worth of work to get a little trim or even a restyle!?

Any tips and recommendations very welcome. If you could see my split ends, you would cringe!

Thanks a lot,

Zoe

How about a mobile hairdresser? I find it less stressful, as well as a bit cheaper, when they come to you, and it's good to know that although it's cheaper they themselves make more out of it. There are quite a few existing threads on hairdressers so you could search for those.

If that's not an option for you, I can recommend Lynn at Balayage, close to the library. She's calm, kind and reassuring, and the salon itself is on the quieter side. A cut costs ?40 I think.

Hi everyone, thanks for all the suggestions. I went to Lily's hair in the end and I'm so glad I did. Lily did an amazing job with my hair and I came away with a fringe (I never thought I could rock a fringe)! I would 100% recommend Lily - great price, great cut!
