Victorian style front door that doesn't cost the earth?

Hi

Where can I get the wooden & glass front door seen on almost every Victorian house in ED?! I'm sure there must be an alternative to the eye-wateringly expensive London Door Company.

Go to the Bath house architectural reclaim at Bell green lower Sydenham. You shouldn't pay much more than ?100. Also try the place opposite Tescos in Kirkdale at the Sydenham end of Dartmouth road.

You will probably need to reglaze and prepare and paint but you will if lucky get a genuine door of the right period. That's what I find results in a quality end finish.
