BeccaL
My husband's running this and so we're going to be there supporting him. Anyone else doing it? If so, we'll look out for you! Good luck to all. felt-tip
I am! I don't know how you'll recognise me but if you see anyone struggling - it could be me so give them a cheer. jim_the_chin
check out some of the comments on runners worldhttp://www.runnersworld.co.uk/forum/forummessages.asp?EN=56378&URN=6&UTN=157105&Events_Last=1&V=2&SP=people are quite negative about it but it's worth the experience of running on some of londons more inaccessible roads. It's very packed at the start though, it took me 45 minutes to start, so get there early. mazza7103
i've just seen this post. i ran on sunday. i'm afraid it was just too packed to enjoy. the lack of toilets was an issue for me for the first 4k. we asked a steward where the nearest toilets were and they directed us to the bushes. theres no music on route and no one could have enjoyed hanging around for an hour and a half to get going. not for me i'm afraid. i've been part of other events, just as busy and not had the same experience. did you guys also noticed the amount of people taken away by ambulances. i had to go find someone for one lady who collapsed near the underpass at st pauls. felt-tip
I didnt bother going in the end. It was too hot and after reading the comments on RW.com decided to stay at home and do some baking. Much more enjoyable. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12198-anyone-running-the-london-10k-on-sunday/#findComment-341141 Share on other sites
