Has anybody seen the new roof terrace at The Bishop?

Nice use of the space, away from the main traffic flying up and down L/Lane.

May also be booked up for private parties I believe........

Now that rustler has been apprehended, I?m going to say I like the roof terrace ? as long as I can get a seat near the front by the railing. Further back and the air con combined with hot weather makes for one sticky combo

Possibly the most obvious fake recommendation I've ever seen.

Although nowhere near as funny as the classic Vale post. Can anyone remember the exact words they used to describe their experience in another pub?

I can't believe the Vale one was better than the posting by the delightfully fictional mrshamilton regarding the now-departed Osbourne Stewart

But there was a certain phrase that the Vale booster used that was a little bit of comic gold, when comparing his experience in another local pub that didn't meet the V's high standards.

Was it 'I felt crushed', I think it was or something along that line.

Made me laugh like a drain so it did.

Roof terrace is a strange term, isn't it?

You'd never hear of a roof patio, I guess. Roof garden, yes. Rooftop Gardens definitely, especially in Wakefield where the Hit Man and Her was once filmed.

I suppose "Roof" is just a bit brutal.

Anyway, has anyone been on the Bishop's roof? Is it any less infected with polo-shirted bellends than downstairs?
