Menu looks good.. I have been monitoring the progress of this exciting new outlet for some time now..

Had assumed from the name that this was Mexican.

But the "Indian grill" and the menu looks as if it's basically Indian??

Well good luck and I hope you do well, Xoco, but I wonder why you've mixed such very different types of food, particularly with Meat Liquor over the road .....

It's not exactly Indian. It has a dozen or so Bengali dishes..

But also sells

Turkish Kebabs.... Lamb.. Chicken.. Lobster.. Salmon.. etc

Grills and Steaks..

Burgers.. Scollaps.. Squid..

Stir fry dishes..

It is a Cocktail bar with Bar-B-Que Pit.. and looks very interesting..

Groups of people going out and being able to have different meals..

Whilst wishing any new business all the best, this is one weird menu.

Burger and steaks with pineapple, a whole lobster, mashed potato, stir fries, chicken tikka masala, chips. And 'exclusive drinks'.

Oh bleurgh, that doesn't sound good.

When The Great Exhibition first opened it had some sort of veggie burger, I think it was beetroot, which came with pineapple, though the pineapple wasn't on the menu.

I had to take it out of the burger before I could eat it.

Someone told me it was an Australian dish???

Oh, and I've just noticed you can order cheese as an extra with the steak. Steak and cheese????

Burgers in NZ often come with beetroot and pineapple - in fact you can get one at GBK, the "kiwi burger". Deeeeeelicious!

I'm loving the fact that it is keeping it so real hipsters don't get it. And sells EVERYTHING. Eclectic!

People get really worked up about where pineapple should and shouldn't be seen.

Maybe they're ahead of the curve - food eclecticism could be The Next Big Thing; a natural reaction to the poncery of the single-dish restaurant.

And don't knock the pineapple, it's a big hit at Dinner By Heston, so I can see why it's on the Buff Burger (sic) menu here.
