snowboarder
Starting to get cold sweats about the long summer hols, no friends around, crowded park cafes etc. What can we do all summer long? Which classes keep going - does Ruby Rhymes? Thinking about doing a swim course at Crystal Palace. Can't work out what the Whippersnappers lot are doing but have emailed them to find out. And the Horniman?Maybe we could collect/share info here. And maybe a regular weekly meet in a park/horniman sandpit? kiyoaki
I've been wondering this too... Tin Pan Annie have some summer classes but I think in Clapham. Monkey Music normally do a holiday class or two as well? Tumble Tots only (?!) stops for the month of August. Princess
We went up to Grove Vale Rhyme Time on Monday but it wasn't on due to staff shortages. They hope it will be up and running next Monday but you might want to check before setting out! beababies
hello, I currently lead a baby music class in West Hampstead for babies up to age three which has times throughout the week and am planning to start a similar regular class in the East Dulwich area. The classes are for a mix of ages from babies up to age three so are sibling friendly and involve sing alongs, dancing and percussion/instrument playing. The classes are always drop in, ?5/class and would be Monday/Wednesday/Saturday mornings and Tuesday afternoons in East Dulwich. Ideally I will be starting the classes in the next few weeks and would appreciate any feedback regarding interest/need for such classes in the area and what times/days would be best! There seem to be quite a few other baby music classes in East Dulwich already but they seem to be only once a week, more expensive, age specific or require a term commitment so it appears there may be a need for a class such as mine. Any feedback would be much appreciated! All the best, Bea xx Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12297-summer-classes-for-under-twos/#findComment-354229 Share on other sites
new mother
Absolutely agree Bea. The term commitment thing is no good for most of us. I end up wasting so many sessions owing to sleeps (thank goodness!) and last minute feeding requirements. Drop in would work very well for us. apenn
Also agree with New Mother. Drop in sessions would be great. I would be intersted in the Tues afternoon or Monday sessions. seem to be the driest day for classes around here, although I didn't know about the session at Grove Vale library. Will have to check that out. Anyone know what time it runs?On Wed and Fri mornings you would have competition with Busy Bees at the Horniman, which is free.-A Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12297-summer-classes-for-under-twos/#findComment-354998 Share on other sites
